I met her today.
The girl who took him away from me.
I saw them both.
But they didn’t see me.
I hid from them.
And watched them.
I saw the love in their eyes.
I saw the love in HIS eyes.
I remember a time when he looked at me like that.
Oh....... how my heart broke watching them joke and laugh.
I heard her giggle at his jokes.
I bet they where the some that he tolled me.
I needed to know her name.
So I can call her something other then the names I have been calling her.
I took a deep breath and steeped into their site.
But they toured around just as I did.
They didn’t see me.
I walked over and touched him on the shoulder.
The look on his face when he saw me almost made me cry.
He didn’t want to see me.
He didn’t say a word.
I made the first move and said “hi”
He just looked at me.
Not saying a word.
Then SHE came over.
And put her hand on his arm and said “hi”
I reached my hand out for hers.
She took it in a strong grip.
I put on a fake smile and said with a forced voice “I’m Daisy; it’s nice to meet you”
She smiled back at me and said “I’m Sarah; it’s nice to meet you too”
Sarah, now I know her name.
I forced a smile again and looked at then again.
Then I nodded my head and walked past them.
Out of the shop.
And didn’t look back.
