Crossroads

Standing in the middle of two roads
Unsure of where each one goes
I wonder if you know?

I wish I could tell you some things that are on the inside
Right in the very depths of my mind
Just can't seem to find a way to let you in
Trust me when I say that I don't mean to offend

I question if I told you what was wrong
If you would just look right through me
Would you think I was naive?
Perhaps you would deceive me?

Or maybe... Just maybe...
you would be right there for me
Ready to lead me...Lead me...
in the right direction

Just not so sure if this is a risk I want to take
So maybe I'll hide my feelings behind a mask in an attempt to fake
Maybe one mask won't due
So I'll hide behind many and hope that you can't see through.
Then again... Maybe I hope you do.
