Awakening my instincts,
filling my soul, a delicious spring scent,
of mate-ly charms to behold.
Feasting my senses, waking my loins!
The teasing aroma of forest sweat, wild huckleberries,
inhaling deep........ahhhhhhhh,
babbling brook fish trout, not one but two!
The heavens have sent, my perfect mate!
How could I resist, just one little peek.
To cast my eyes upon the blessed,
Love of my life!
You were.... surprised?
I was pissed...broken hearted,
embarrassed to death.
I must walk home, no forest bride, no den snuggler,
and by the way, it was just plain,
"rude" to not,
share your catch!

i loved it. i'm sure my brother bear will be honored that you wrote this for him! i think it speaks of the essence of bearhood!
