Leaves Of Me

Leaves fall to the ground
Silence the only sound
From where I stand on this old dirt mound

I'm trying to figure out
Exactly what this is all about

I wish you could see
The missing part of me

Maybe if I go back to the start
We'll be able to chart
Everything that's missing from my heart

I know none of this is making any sense
But if you'll just give it a chance
Maybe you'll be able to understand this existence

I wish I knew everything that I'm suppost to be
But everything around me is falling apart
Why can't you see?

Maybe going back to the start wasn't such a good idea afterall
So maybe I'll just stand here for a little while and watch the leaves fall.

At first I got a sense of confusion but then you explained it, I think that signaled a change in the direction of your poem which is quite interesting because at first I did not understand what you were getting at but then it was all clear and the last line is superb.

    Awsome

This poem left me with a great sense of Aww. I loved every line from the first the the very last. I know this is a poem I intend to read over, and over.
