Ignoring their whispers
I loved the happiness you bring
The rumors flying, you never seemed to care
You kept me at my best
You were always there
When we went for a drive, the alcoholic hit
I saw you bleeding
Slipping away, bit by bit
I was there too, but it was you who died
You were my life, now all I have is scars
When I read your diary, I cried and cried
You felt their blows, relied on me
I let you down
But now I see
You had fallen in love with me.
