Amidst the empty silence
The nothingness of space
And ever-spreading dread
Don't leave me in the dark
I'm searching for a light
But I stumble every step
Because I cannot see
Don't leave me here to drown
Inside the blurred confusion
Of deep-set inner conflicts
Within tormented minds
Don't leave me torn apart
By all these screaming whispers
These thought-devouring feelings
And the pains that plague my dreams
Don't leave me on the ground
I've fallen from the burden
Of this great difficulty
All caused by my own fault
Don't leave me here to die
I don't know what to do now
Or how to fix the chasm
Between the halves of me
