The Hidden Me

Missing image
Oh if only I was born in
the time and place I know
that I truly belong.

Let my words transport you
to my era of life.

Where would I be?
Who would I be?

Lets travel across the
universe to a place
known to most as Pleiades.
There you might be surprise
to know that it is a place
of two livable planets.

One is where I would
love to be back again.
Taydril with her swamp
and those slugs that
are older than life itself.
The desert with the red
sands and heat so smothering.

Drows and elves, humans
and some things you never
really want to ever see.
An island filled with
creatures larger than life.
Dragons roaming free, Torlocs
with their healing tears of silver.

Yes, I want to go back there,
to a family that waits for
their lost daughter. Where
magick is a way of life,
and nothing to worry about.

Wars that happen, but, oh
those bars where one can
let down their hair and
dance the night away.

So, let me leave this
place you all call home
and the planet Earth.
Send me back to the
land of my understanding
birth and where my heart
truly belongs.

Author notes

SO.. Have you ever felt like you were born
in the wrong era? Or say that there's
"other worlds" out there.. like umm...
Fairies exist and their lands are
hidden behind this one..lol..
Or werewolves..
I know I feel that way.
I feel like I was born in the wrong time..
So, I want you to tell me where you think
you would be if you were not meant to be
born in this time.. Who you would be?
what would your life be like.. Anything!
