hannah and i...bff (7th grade poem)

golden hair pulled back
tight as can be
a messy bun shadowing creativity
sometimes blue
sometimes green
the shade of her eyes
a pudgy plump pug Dutch nose
in the center of her face
pink silvery lips hide a silver smile
glowing rainbow colors
petite and perfect
small feet
short arms and legs
just the way God wanted
best friends forever is our motto
Friends are there when feeling blue
orange, green, purple, yellow
or even red enough you’ll blow sky high
Friends care about each other
like Hannah and I
two houses down
since we were youngsters of one year
lounging on quilts
watching daisy flowers sing and dance
Hannah and I are true blue
having squabbles here and there
soon they fade away
both loving Jesus with all our hearts
Hannah and I
toddlers playing
preschool then elementary
middle school
and soon to be highschool
always there for each other
