Believing in Hope

Wishing wells
dwell
on hearts desires
absorbing a dream
to demenish a hope.

Love
courting
a kiss
to wonder
when you play

but a second
is too long
   and a chance
            dissolves.

Dripped in beauty
a candle wax
to close
      letters

Symbolic
of who
and where

but this road
    never traveled
remains the mystery.

Where broken
   thoughts
for happiness
   reside
     wishing

that you never wished.
