pieces of me fly
in your direction
when you catch my eye
whittled shards and chips
alight and cling delicately
adorning carnelian beauty
but needing no embellishment
the nameless blemish
is brushed away...
discarded parings of my soul flutter
frozen by your gaze
i could have been the world to you
my heart your home
had i been visible
Please tell me what you think

Oh I have been here myself! I could have written this poem.
I think I have poetry to a similar effect.
Funny how one can find kinship in heartache.
Well done and well written.
