once there was
a glimmer of hope,
a distant dream
that could be tasted
with the same sweetness
as ice cream summers,
the sunshine so beautiful
it was almost painful
the burdens of a monochrome world
crush creativity
and suppress me
to the basement of
forgotten dreams

wow! i love that! i know the feeling when you experience something so beautiful, it's painful. and you know you shouldnt be so sad, yet you cant bring yourself to fully enjoy it. the picture is sad and unique too! nice write altogether!
