Have you ever been this lonely
And couldn't see the light?
When you can't find what you're headed towards
Don't care enough to try
Have you ever felt so empty
That if you slit your wrists tonight
No one loves enough to care
If you bleed until you die
Have you ever felt like no one sees
The tears that ceaselessly depart?
That scars shown on the outside
Reflect what's in your heart
And since what's on the inside,
Has been so terribly maimed
Life doesn't seem worth fighting for
Existence doesn't seem so great
The abyss you're in tells nothing of
The light some seem to find
Won't tell if it sees something
That can pull you through the night
