every time I thought of you
I'd almost be out of words.
But there's always sometyhing new to come with you.
I've never appreciated someone special like I do with you.
You brighten my day with a simple hello
and leave a void with every goodbye.
You're the person I want in my arms whenever
I'm down or when I'm ill.
Just to see your face would help make it all okay.
To wake up with you would be a gift
for that's what I wish every night.
And when I wake up and look over there's nothing there
but the image of you in my head.
I want you to understand the significance of these words.
I thought I had felt this way before but I was wrong.
You are the cheese to my macaroni,
in all respects,
Movie or not.
I can never thank you enough for being the first one
to truly care like you do.
Baby, I love you,
And maybe later I'll tell you.

i wrote this two months ago. haha about two hours after waking up from anesthesia so i was still dopey. and it's reality based but i veered off a little, not much. i just found it and thought it was cool i could still write when i was dozing on and off. =P

Ahhh<3 I lovvve this poem so freaking muchh. Everything about it totally made me think about the predicament I'm in right now, and your words and the metaphors were simply ahmazing.

My favorite three lines of the whole poem. I think many can relate to that. Those lines were stunning and perfectly worded.
