Stitches

Tear me, bend me, break me
But teach me how to stitch it closed
Then stab me through the heart until
No living thing could take much more
Steer me in the wrong directions,
Stitches come undone,
So I can wander aimlessly
Beneath the glare of a midnight sun
Feelings slowly fade away
And blow far off like dust
At least it smothers misery
But seems to harbor broken trust
It seeps into the darkest holes
And fills life with regrets
To spill into my empty thoughts
And haunt me with dark silhouettes
The shadows which were once my home,
Disappear like fog
The nothingness takes over quick
As all my stitches come undone

A lot of imagery in this one, which I like I found it very dark and mysterious...great job

    Good luck in the contest
