Competition poem that had to be 10 words. When I started this, I thought the easiest writing style would be 1,2,3,4 word count. First word sets topic, 2 words descriptors, 7 words to play with (often a set up and counter). I've seen this done before for many innocent things, like, say, Rain.
As for the subject, when I was thinking about it, I was thinking "If I can cram words in with higher syllable counts it'll pad it". Masturbation came to mind (with 4)... and I just stuck with it. Note: 8 of the words are 1 syllable.

Actually work of late is so busy there hasn't been room for any "extra" energy expenditures... The sad part is the better half is quite content with the current situation, claiming that she hasn't had this much sleep for ages.
Not sure if that's a compliment though
