All is well
tis the giving season
filled with joy and well being
all are waiting for the joyful day
to exchange gifts
of Christmas colors
to bring the family close together
waiting for jolly old Saint Nick
to fulfill their wishes
In the city
many are left
with nothing to give
no money for presents
no food for dinner
just the love in their hearts
that slowly fades
as Christmas nears
with no family
no wood stove
nowhere to go
As the snow begins to fall
a yellow cab rolls on
stopping with a screech
from within the window
gifts come flying
towards the homeless
giving them hope
that some people care
that within this uncaring world
their are a few pure hearts
a few hearts that care.
