Demean me like it’s nothing
It’s been done before
I fear you’ll never push me to eh point
Where I can’t take anymore
Destined to loom here
Alone in this vast expanse of mine
Clawing at the walls of worth
Without a reason to climb
A tool of your trade
Am I beckoned out of amusement?
Sometimes I question – no, I know
You’d easily find a replacement
Not worthy of your attention now
You have no desire for me
But if I wait long enough you may
Yet even then, it’s not me you see
No longer do I feel proud
Wanted has no substance
No longer worthy of being loved
A life full of reluctance
Not even worth the effort
Not good enough for your time
You need, or convenient for you
I see no point for my body to have a mind
Watch your back now
Afraid to get too close to its teeth
Just linger at the lips – taunting
Never let it have any meat
