Divine Peaks

Missing image
Reaching this pinnacle of beauty
escaping worlds below.
Eternity proposed her beginning
bursting in symphony.
High into her shafts of light
my soul was embraced.
Utopia, maybe its my heaven
I rocked with its impact.
Blue ridge spectacular piety
blessed to observe thee.
Inhaling the crisp atmosphere
my eyes gazed in awe.

~*~

Contours of each divine peak
altered only by our creator.
With out fear; there's no courage
as I hike higher looking for thee.
God must be some where watching
o'er a fool like me.

  • lovely poem glacial majesty,, i must say the title threw me and i thought of something else ,, good luck xx

  • This is a nice piece that shines light on the sheer beauty of pure and untainted nature: an awe-inspiring beauty that slowly but surely being completely and utterly lost on the world. The picture is beautiful, and sends shivers down your spine with the sheer beauty and still tranquility. There is iced sense of calm that soer of envelopes the eyes when you gaze upon it, and your poem mirros that same effect, but using snes-stimulated words instead of paint. Nicely done.
  • Very nice piece, one can almost feel the icy breeze on one's face as they read this . I like your take on the picture, it is a beautiful one.

I hiked this trail with you through the beauty of your words!! Breath-taking imagery and stunning emotions filled me while on this journey!!! Very well done and best of luck

  • Nature totally opens our eyes to God as the Creator and only true Artist. In the line "bless to observe thee" you might change it to "blessed" to make the poem less mosaic. In your very final line you said "an fool" but you meant "a fool". Hate to be a stickler but one typo can be the loss of a reader's respect for you. Silly I know, but that's how it is. Good job, keep writing!
