Quantum Reincarnation

A negative pi meson collides with a proton,
driving two particles to annihilation.
Creating two new particles, a lambda particle and a neutral K meson,
on their way to a renewable life like reincarnation.

The neutral K meson decays into a positive and a negative pi meson,
and the lambda,
decays into the original two particles; a negative pi meson and a proton,
on their way to Nirvana.

The lambda particle decays into the original two particles,
a negative pi meson and a proton.
And, in the world of quantum reincarnation, life lives on.

  • Nicely researched and well composed.

It's a pity some of the particle names aren't a little more poetic isn't it

Great stuff, thanks for the entry and good luck.

Thanks, Jeff. Yeah, it is too bad that the particles aren't more poetic than meson and proton. thank you so much for the silver trophy. It's an honor. I enjoyed taking part in your contest.

Thanks, Luna. Yeah, my mind works in wacky ways sometimes when I read quantum physics. I never know what I might write next. I appreciate you stopping by my page and commenting.

Thanks, Amera. I'm glad you like my science poems. I recently got a comment on the video on my channel for this poem from one of my subscribers saying I had a beautiful mind. I don't know if I do, I like to just think it's creative at most. I appreciate the comment.

      Thanks, Desire.
Are you sure you want to borrow my brain, though? I feel like a wacky philosopher most days.

I would definitely recommend the book. It's a great read. If you like that physics sort of stuff.

Thanks for stopping by. I always appreciate your comments.

Thanks, Charley. Romantic? Never thought of it that way before, but I suppose it can have that feeling to it depending on how someone looks at it. Thanks for always stopping by my page and commenting on my work.
