Life and Death

Time moves on
Even as you are stuck in a moment
Trying to break free of your hurt
And convincing yourself to move on

Life is hard
This you know all too well
As you struggle through the pain
That living has caused you

Soon it will end
Because in the end it is life
That causes your death
And brings about your end

For without it
Death could not exist at all
Because without life,
There is no death to be had

Author notes

So it is a horrible, and atrocious, and abominable, and abhorrent, and detestable, and dreadful, and deplorable, and despicable, and ghastly, and gruesome, and heinous, and horrendous, and nauseating, and pitiful, and repulsive, and revolting, and sickening, and unpleasant, and vile, and wretched poem.
By the way, if you read that entire list of adjectives, I applaud you.

I know the scattered feeling this brings or at least with me. It conveys to mean someone who has bottled all of this up and finally explodes and releases it very quickly to the nearest friend that'll be nice enough to lend an hear. Good work. :]
