Colorful Creations

Missing image
Beauty springs forth neath towering hills,
bouquets of daisies and daffodils.
God's creations abundantly grows,
inhale the fragrance of splendor He sows.

Among the pastels and colorful hues,
snowcaps brush up against skies of blue.
Heartstopping vista a breathtaking view,
majestic mountains cast shadows anew.

Far reaching wonder my eyes convey,
nature's painting on a scale with Monet.
Air brushed as breezes gently glide,
whispering echoes cross Great Divide.

Heaven on Earth and Heaven above,
masterpiece painted with strokes of love.
Towering temples of purplish gray,
at foot of granite wildflowers sway.

    On A Scale With Monet,

that I would have to disagree with, LOL. Yet I do understand the point behind the phrasing.

For the one responsible for spring was also the one behind the spirit of Monet himself. Even if Monet may never have acknowledged it to be so.

Your poem does much justice to the picture with which it is paired. As well, your words leave an indelible mark upon the canvas of my mind.

Your rhyming and flow of thoughts was dead spot on, hitting the bullseye at every turn.

    Wonderfully Done Ms. Sandy.

    As a fellow member,

Niaish Ma Eno has left some love here on your page.

    Be Blessed!

  • This is truly beautiful, and the border goes perfect with the picture. Awesome. One thing...in the first line, "Beauty spring forth" Would it not be "springs?"
Still, great piece. Thank you for sharing in the contest.

The picture is and poem are awsome, the description so precise, only God could gather to leave space on earth for man to humble theirselve to collect scent left on the wind and ground covered with this lovely image. You display the excellent rhyme as usual for the reader to step through without an overly controlled adherence to the poetic craft.
