*"Never loan money
to your friends,
it will ruin their memories."
When you are down and out,
see who is still around
to lift you up and
welcome you back in.
Friend-ships have lifeboats
that are often employed
by those seeking to flee
the disaster of your
sinking into depression.
There is an
end in fri-end
for a reason,
use it wisely,
when you turn to
find cold shoulders
after Miss fortune
marks you with
a kiss of fate.
A true friend will
be there with you
even at your execution,
weeping softly over
the folly of your ways.
They can always
be found closest
to your heart
in any crisis.
Hell has no friends,
only the enemies
who sought ways
for you to
join them there.
Cherish true friends,
abandon the pseudos,
and your life will
be richly blessed.
