Heart-broken
Left insecure
Words still hanging on the tip of my tongue,

I saw you today
Black boots and that skirt
Walking alone through the park
Like an angel fallen from heaven
Eyes met eyes
As that smile crossed your lips
Perfect and mine
If only in my head
Just at that moment
Your eyes focused in
Saw me from my hiding place
and you screamed
Heart-broken
Left insecure
Words still hanging on the tip of my tongue;
