The Reassurance Chant for the Trembling Insomniac

Sleep for the night
when the sun is swallowed
by the horizon's lazy appetite.
Hold out for the morning
with soft lids to bed the eyes.

Sleep for the night.

There is enough glittering sight
reflecting the moonbeams
in their wide, frozen eyes,
so for you;
sleep for the night.

Sleep for the night,
for the day will always come
within the same time.

Sleep for the night.

This is with revisions. Maybe I should go back to the original. But I didn't think the original made sense.

Not exactly sure what to say about this one.

I liked it. It was comforting in an ironic way. Almost trying to convince of something peaceful.

    "There is enough glittering sight
    reflecting the moonbeams
    in their wide, frozen eyes"

    Caught my attention.
