Where are your kisses?
I yearn to find them,
Whether in snowy fields yet to be touched,
Or near graceful waters whose virgin ripples reveal everything I long for.
In you, in spirit, in all things seen and unseen, I wish for your kisses
When cala lilies whisper and sway in the printemps air,
Aromas arise and fill me up like wine in a royal sieve,
Tenderly babbling its unknown language; that is when I know you are there.
Where are your kisses?
Paintbrush patterns swish by the window in every colour of the rain.
In our secret corners we can touch with trembling fingertips and
Summon promises never forgotten and never dreamt about.
Karma’s spells sift between our tender lips.
They circle each other, an everlasting dance.
Where are your kisses?
In my solitude and my hiding place I have often thought of you.
Your face I have never seen, your lips I have never kissed, your hair I have never smelled, your inner-beauty I have never experienced.
And though I may never know you, I think of the snowy field, the graceful water, the cala lily, the sieve of wine, the paintbrush, the secret corner and karma’s spell and then I know:
I love you without fail.
Please tell me what you think

This is so very beautiful, Jay... I love it when a man can write something as soft and romantic as this. I'm sure, when that special someone arrives, this poem is what you should read.... And of course, I love calla lilies (I consider them my own flower, lol)... so this one just made my heart and my eyes all soft.
