Day breaks in the wilderness of the mountain peaks
With a stunning splendor.
The sun bathes the mountains,
Revealing a remote world of nature’s timeless artistry.
Each blossom perched at the rushing water’s edge
Stretches to grasp the day’s warm energy
As it creeps into the canyon’s depths.
The illumination brings light to this wilderness’ flourishing life.
A vast realm reaching to the very edge of a limitless sky.
Grasp the timeless artistry
Rising from the shaded canyon floor.
Nature’s paintbrush flows among the majestic peaks
Splashing color here and there
Sweeping it up in a display of wondrous grace
To join God’s ever changing picturesque views.
Not a living soul stirs within this valley.
The pristine wilderness lay full of wonder and beauty.
God’s country.
His timeless artistry.

This is beautiful. It makes me think of what the world would look like if man didn't make it so filthy. Very well written. Thank you for sharing in the contest.
