The Journey

The Journey of life is what I see
With all of the ups and downs
You cannot expect better or worse
We must prepare for smiles and frowns

Aroma's of lilies, chrysanthemums too
A beautiful world that we've been given
Never look down, keep your eyes up
Because you've successfully risen

Higher than the steep mountains
Straight to the brightening sky
Drizzles may contain your long hike
Have patience for it will soon dry

Smells of sweetness surrounding you
Exotic azaleas and violet-hued gardens
Then feeling the cold and bitter breeze
Your toes cold and frail as they harden

Keep wandering and never look back
Around the corner of the highest peak
May be an astonishing photograph
Of a life that you always did seek
