I fear most
What I cannot see
For if I don't
They'll kill me.
"They" are beasts
That lurk around
Most of their life
In the ground.
If you happen to dig
Into their space
Make sure that you
Cover your face.
For if you don't
you will not see
For they like eyes
With hasty glee.
Do not breathe
While they attack
For if you do
You won't smell your snack.
You will regret
If you speak
For they like
Noisy treats.
If you listen
To their scream
You will never
Hear a stream.
They'll also go
For your throat
Because they love
To gloat.
I fear most
What I cannot see
For if I don't
They'll kill me.

This is difficult to read because of the choice of font and background....so difficult for men...or girls to see, so nothing to fear.
However, when I highlighted the poem, it was a great take on the prompt and an enjoyable read.
Best of luck in the contest.
