    This reminds me of an expression a friend from Mexico shared, "Time is falling on me". Like your lines here, it reveals our anxiety that with our responsibilities we are about to be smashed by the juggernaut of time rather than riding it as passengers toward a well anticipated journey's end.
    I hope you are able to step off the rails and jump aboard as it passes. The unplanned trip is better than being a wet spot on the tracks!
    Note: "frieght" should be "freight"
