This is the title of my poem,
It is something quite unique,
For rarely does he write a poem
With no aim or goal he seeks.
And yet this poem keeps on growing
Still this poet ne'er will be slowing,
This stream of thoughts must not be altered
Save the integrity of this soon shall falter.
He should have stopped this childish game
So as to save himself from shame
That shall await his eventual ending
Of this poem beyond comprehending.
Yet this stubborn writer ne'er will cease
This brash poem that still is living,
Whose form's ambiguous to say the least,
It's like a poor gift that keeps on giving.
And now the final end is in sight
Yet he shall not go down without a fight,
An important lesson of his is vital:
To no longer write using such a daft title.
Author notes
Dear Amanda,
I apologize for the pointlessness of this poem. I tried to match the humor of the title. I hope you appreciate it. I will of course enter again for I love this contest. Thanks for the fun time.
