You learn something new
from every love you lose,
what to do right,
everything you did wrong,
and one of these days
the right one will come along.
You're heart's breaking now
but you'll make it through somehow,
you've learned what you like,
what you're not willing to take,
every life has its share
of sorrow and heartbreak,
but there's still a sun that shines
and you've gotta make up your mind
you're gonna live your life to the fullest,
raise your voice and sing along,
'cause one of these days
the right one will come along.
Love's not needy,
it's not grasping and greedy,
it's always full of possibilities,
it's willing to give
and grateful to receive.
It's waiting out there
just around the corner somewhere
and it won't be long,
the right one will come along.
