Midnight: Thursday and his Voice soothes me

Missing image

and i imagine his roughed hands

around mine, like moths to autumn flames

they will twist and dance,

in the instance of knowing

i am the balm for his words

and he, he holds me firm,

through telling months

our need to capture

every second turn and answer too,

smokes in the heat of a late indian summer.

i'm tempted to steal from you and write a poem called:
'It's the 14th of the Month, and I Have a Heart Attack Reading My Phone Bill.'

yes, we are all in the same boat, literally, lolol; but the closeness of voice to ear to heart is oh so necessary; albeit expensive

i know when i hear my liefie's voice, the whole world comes to a stop and there's nothing and no one but me and her. i get totally focused on every nuance of her voice...and sometimes the words don't matter as much as the sound.

metaphorically...we hold each other in our mouths

beautiful, beautiful...because i know this feeling as well as my own skin

    shazam!

aaah yes, the voice...i know, i know..

This is so beautiful, Gilly...softly lit, romantic, filled with yearning and an intimacy that just makes me beam and all mushy inside...

not long now..soon you'll be counting the "sleepies"..oh yes, you will.

    sighs....
