"Pictures Back In Time"
the memories flash before me
that bring me back to different times,
happiness truly was seen,
by the look in our eyes.......
many disappointments lay before me,
but there were so many happy times!
the children how small they once were,
All grown up now,the present time......
then there was that Cinderella moment,
was married once upon a time.
with the prince that caught my attention,
A love I thought would last a lifetime....
heart broken but yet determined
to find a way,
these pictures represent changes,
some friendships,family or love,
that have grown, died or left behind....
there is that special keepsake picture,
of our last Christmas tree,
the best one we could find and drag it in together,
that blizzard like day after thanksgiving......
a mother,a lover,
even a heart breaker.
these pictures flood my memory,
like it was back in Egyptian time.
