Your lies tingle down my spine
As I walk by and roll my eyes
Your words like venom
Eating at my every move
My every step
In the direction you want
I love the way you twist things
Making them seem so tainted
Hilarious the things they believe
As if I'm the devil in disguise
Well I can't wait to see your face
The day you come to that holy place
And I won't let your sorry ass in the door
Author notes
I hope this isn't too bad and you can read it Thanks

People don't see the world as it is, but as they are.
I have been in this position, and identify with the hurt and bitterness between the lines. Images and concise words make a strong impression. The last three lines made me smile; I wish I had been so wise twenty years ago.

Wow this is a good write, and goes with the topic well. I love the first six lines the best for they could be understood in many different ways. and the end is funny. Great write!! good luck
