I realize

realize that i can't let myself cry.
I realize that i have to be okay.
I have to be me.
I can't pretend to be someone i'm not.

I have to get thru life,
not turn my back on it.
I can't give up,
the ones that love me wouldn't want me to.

I hurt so much inside.
This hurt makes me realize,
i have to be stronger than this pain i feel.
I have to learn to heal.

I have to let my friends be there.
All they want to do is help.
I realize that i haven't been myself.
I have been hurting others.

I realize that i've been stupid.
I was blinded.
I was selfish.
All i was thinking about was me.

I can change.
I choose to.
I have to for the sake of others.
