~The heart dies a slow death, shedding each hope like leaves, until one day there are none
-Memoirs of a Geisha
She stares out the window confused and alone
showing no weakeness trying to be strong
only deep inside her heart turns to stone
Her strength has fled, she gives up the fight
her death is nearing deep in the black night
ready to find herself in the rapturous light
the leaves have fallen leaving the tree bare
like the beat of her heart went with the air
her heart and the tree, a dying loveless pair
He left her one day with a few simple goodbye
her breath suspended, her heart begin to die
tears begin to rain watering leaves with a sigh
nights full of magic will deny her again
romance filled sheets with a slight of gin
Until one day their are none, leaves or love

Still rhyming but in a much better way. Best of luck to you.

You have a very unsteady end of line rhyme scheme, which throws off the flow. Also please read the rules. I specifically asked for no end of line rhyming!! This poem has potential to be fabulous, it is your job to refine that potential.
