The Dying Autumn

Dance me
Among snow laced statues
My winter
Has begun
As I incinerate
In the presence
Of bare and naked trees
Bathing in the ashes
These cremating leaves
In this departing autumn
My love, my love
So soon depart me
You have me now
Dancing, singing
With a voice
That is unbecoming of me
And convulsive jerks
That betrays my disease
If this life
Proves no more value
Then let the ice take me
As this winter
Has begun…

loved the ... 'and convulsive jerks that betrays my disease'
You know, your writing is really dark, but with such a soft touch to it - it's wonderful!
