I don’t know why this restriction is upon me
Yet hours to come tie me up even more
A soulless person could smile genuinely
Without dripping pain from this barbed wire
I’ll let you feel what I don’t know I feel
Once I’m able to live with this restraint
The light helps to conceal
When I despite the torture don’t almost faint
The world is a chaos and always erratic
Though I cannot reach out
Around me it’s so quiet yet dramatic
Dead calm yet so loud

Interesting imagery through out. Simple yet the message marks along nicely.

Contradiction is the natural state of things.
