There's a pixie in my soup
It's swimming there doing loop de loop
I put in my spoon to take a sip
when this little pixie gave me the slip
I didn't see him there at first
as I wanted to get stuck in to
lovely fresh veggies and herbs within.
Didn't want to disturb, as
this little pixie was cooking a storm
splashing about all over the place
some splashed out onto my face.
He must be partial to the flavour
just like me something to savour
When he had finished he'd left not a drop
and popped his head out over the top
as he crept out onto the soupbowl brim
brushed himself down and gave me a grin
bowing politely doffing his cap said
'thankeee dear lady, I'm off for me nap'
