on constant watch
responded to nightmare
rushed into sea of crumbling stone
to rescue World Trade Center terrorized
entombed heroes paid highest price
comrades clawed in rubble
few firemen found
brothers

Oh, Aunt Joyce . . . this is such a beautiful tribute to our dear American heroes. You've captured a great deal in just a handful of words, and you've created such a beautiful background to go with it too . . . my only qualm with the background is the dividing line on the body part, between the repetitions. However, it is a small thing, and I do like to nitpick so
.
Congratulations on your trophies, they're most well deserved.
Best wishes,
Zach

wow this background is wonderful! I love it. And it is a great choice for this poem. Thank you for telling me that this was ina form and for telling me a little bit about the form. That certainly helps a lot when someone doesn't know much about forms... like me.
Thanks for entering this poem... that is very well written. Into my contest. And for helping us to remember 9-11.

-
You used this form with great intensity! I am saddened still. I had to go to my college campus today but could not bring myself to do so because when the attacks occurred, I was on that campus. ~Sigh It took great courage for the fire fighters to enter those towers. Their family members should be so proud of them. I know they are suffering the losses but I am so very proud of their humility and forthrightness... Thank you for your contribution in attributing the heroism that was displayed on this horrific day. The best to you in this contest and congratulations on earning the trophies you've already received.
Much Love & Many Blessings ♥
Renee

It certainly was a horrific ...
event. It's a strange world we live in. Every minute of every hour, evil men are plotting our doom. The trick is to be ever vigilant and not to ever let this happen again.

-
Beautiful
The words bring tears to the eyes if you think about it's horror - great background work too - nicely done - we poets all have our own style - I would make a few changes to my likeing - but then it wouldn't be you - lol - I have apoem giving tribute as well "A Day That Will Live In Infamy" and an unrelated poem called "September Eleventh" - keep on keeping on - Bless God - Joe

You're tribute to 9/11 is very heartfelt. It's a different style than I'm used to reading and you do it incredibly well. I can almost feel the pain you're describing.
