How subtle is the change from love to hate
How insidious is bitterness
It creeps in like a silent thief
Stealing away admiration and respect
How heartbreaking is the change from attention to neglect
How gradual is invisibility
It slowly makes you fade
Until you think no one sees you
How soul-destroying is the change from activity to laziness
How pathetic it makes them
It dismantles their whole world around them
And yet they are too lazy to care
Some can withstand it
Some can not withstand it
Some pretend it's not happening
Some cry that it is happening
Some give in
Some hang on
Some just don't know what to do at all

There is a very fine line between what we, as human being, associate with love and with hate (love to hate, hate to love ...) It was well written and enjoyable to read, and it had not so much a flow but a pretty clear-cut meter. It is a simple poem, but it holds a lot by way of meaning, and of your central theme. Though it is simple, it borders alittle on too simple; maybe stepping up vocabulary to have a more uniform iambic pentameter may help a little bit? But other than that, it was a really good poem ^_^

Yes it's a very fine line between love and hate. The segway from one to another at times can hit out of nowhere, leaving one dumbfounded with questions of why, what went wrong and saddly becoming stuck, not being able to move on and grow. Audrey Evans
