Good Old Auntie Ann

I remember Auntie Ann
her robust body the verandah would span
with her hands on her hips she'd tell us kids to behave
but we pretended we couldn't hear and just smile and wave.

    Thank you for your entry

This one made me laugh out in your line, 'her robust body the verandah would span' lol That got me. Question, is the 'h' in the spelling of veranda a English spelling? We ususally leave the h off lol.

For this being your first time you certainly did a good job on this form, with the a,a,b,b rhyme scheme. I think this is a nice form to start off with when learning form poetry, its fun and not to complicated.

I encourage you to keep writing to read and comment.

    God Bless
    Tammy

Goodness, what could she do, chase you? This is an affectionate memory, nicely done, too.
