Endless

Infinity
walking to reach the stars
Nothing ever changes
no progress ever made

Timeless
the stars before my eyes
I reach out to touch them
missing by a billion miles

Seemingly within reach
a life of grasping nothing

    Thank You!!

Thank You for Your entry: Endless
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and while I was reading which I did several times- I kept seeing DaVinci and the picture of the Vitruvian Man I believe it is called
also seeing The Time Machine...the actual machine-
    hearing words: Genetics...and IQ
Now~ Your last two lines...I am given the phrase:
like grasping straws...hearing: getting the shorter end of the stick- always at the receiving end type of reference but being shown like a fish on a hook
eventually with the right bait...You will catch something~
    Hopefully this makes sense~
Powerful images You have brought forth

    These lines grabbed and pulled~
I reach out to touch them
missing by a billion miles .
    Magnificent Voice spoken~

Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
    **Judging will be done shortly...
    Many blessings too
    and much love~ Desire~*~~*~

beautifully penned. I could see like lil boy trying to reach the stars but getting mad casue he cant reach them when they seem so close. Wonderful imagery.

Best of Luck in the contest,
