first lilac's

The winter of sorrow
the chills of betrayel and pain,
the lost hope for tommorow
Those choices that drove me insane

Gained so little,
in the time that I walked in this freezing deserted land
Nothing was there,
but what I couldn't understand.

So long I was stranded
to lay in the  valley of shadows
Basically  a girl soon to face death,
just a man walking toward the gallows.

Myself and others,
where long passed being beside me
all that was left,
was the anger of what was meant to be

So close to the end
nearing was my time,
I thought I would have to say goodbye
for the sinful ways of my crime

Then everything stopped
Even my heart skipped a beat or two
Suddenly the sun peaked through the clouds
I was once again able to see you.

temperature rose
as did my fading hope
Finally I was again concerned
with others dangaling at the end of there rope

grass strikes the snow
as if piercing through water or air
soon there will be no more issues
to which we will have to pretend and try to care

gray skies have turned to blue
icecaps have melted evaporating into morning dew

the mist has lifted
taking with it the bleak outlook on life
truly my days  can start again
without hiding  fear or using two faced strife

the first sign of the end
like the first lilacs on the trees
No more troubles my friend
Now there will be no grubaling on our knees

Smile for me,
we made it through
faced every parrel
and we stuck it out like glue

now all that is left
is for us  to try and  hold on tight
we must wait till t every icicle is gone.
then  summer will be here and we'll  be alright

take a guess at what I was thinking about
