Cold as ice,
Pale as a ghost,
Remembering the the good times,
And all the bad times,
Laughing and Crying,
You gave me some advice,
"Don't you dear lose faith,
For it will crush you like a rose",
That was your last words,
Before you died,
You see I have'nt lost faith,
The only thing I have lost is you.
Author notes
A close friend died not to long ago...I'm still down about it,...But thoughts are the last words she ever said to me...and I'm still keeping my faith though its small.

Is line seven supposed to be "don't you DARE lose faith"?
Just thought I'd ask, sorry.
On another note I really enjoyed the write, the last two lines were well thought out -
i thought this was beautiful... advice from ones we love it seems we cling to after they die...
wow... i read it again and now i'm in tears... definitely a sad piece. good luck in the contest.
