I still reminisce ...

Missing image
Oh my love

I am not a brook
you taught me to stream

I am not the breeze
you taught me to ventilate

I was an impermanent vertebrate
active here and there
with all my defective wishes

when you partook my life
I assimilated,
I am an universal reality

as I still reminisce
your lessons
even, when we are apart

Oh my love...

Author notes

QUOTE;

"TRUE LOVE IS WHEN YOU SHED A TEAR AND STILL WANT HIM. IT'S WHEN HE IGNORES YOU AND YOU STILL LOVE HIM. IT'S WHEN HE LOVES ANOTHER BUT YOU STILL SMILE AND SAY 'I'M HAPPY FOR YOU.' WHEN ALL YOU REALY DO IS CRY...AND CRY.

Soft and tender words of belonging. Your words flows easy like a mentioned stream and it is easy to read it like the breeze is holding it on its palm. The most beautiful thing in one's life is to learn and to teach, to accept and to be accepted. Nice, this is so nice verses of love.

To take what one has learned from love and the beloved, in gratitude, despite tears.

    My friend

this is such a magnificent write. I cherised each word. You have mindfully linked 'woman from man' or 'in knowing it was the perfect fit' and capured pain [without hate] and puity of tears [as crying from the heart]. Best in the contest. Frans

You capture the quote so beautifully here, poet...the words, the image you've chosen...a benevolent and gentle spirit exudes an appreciation for 'your love' not only in the present, but in the loving reminicences...Best of luck in the contest. Peace, Rhonda
