Rain


Light blue droplets cover me whole,
    As I stand alone in the driveway of coal.
Splashing me deeper, and deeper every second,
            It bares to believe it'll be gone someday.
        For, the rain will be gone, and washed away.
        No more droplets of blue and gray,
  The sun is here, and here to stay.

    i love it. i say short and sweet cause that is what people call me lol. But yeah this poem is great

    little is a lot

    i love this poem! it is short, but it explains quite a bit. i the second line a lot... it reminds me of this movie, how to deal, how mandy moore is just standing out there in the rain, and then the scene changes and its a wedding and all sunny... sorry, just thought that i would say that. lol. good job!

    Short and Sweet

    it's shorter than usual, and i like it. i think that the immediate meaning is somewhat passing and rather insignificant. however im sure if you look closer you can draw close parallels to your own life. i like that! hidden meanings keep me on my toes! nice job!
