You tease my heart,
But you don't make it jump.
You can make me smile like a goofy idiot,
But when I'm asked about you,
I can't honestly say I'm 'In love'.
We spent so much time together,
And I was so obvious.
I almost wish you could know.

But past experience has taught me well.
Don't put a good friendship in jeopardy-
Especially for an un-known.
It's not worth it.

I see you around,
But I don't seek you out.
If you glance at me, I feel special,
But I don't stare you down in an effort to be your world.

I'm just going to let this one go.
I don't really know if my heart is in it;
I KNOW your's isn't.
Believe me, I've been told multiple times.

Sometimes I simply want to live in my fantasy world,
But most of the time, the hard truth keeps me from losing it.
From taking things to far.

It isn't appropriate.
