Sweat pouring down her face
Muscles weary and sore
Wonders through her anguish
Why she keeps asking for more.
Step after step
Almost ready to surrender
But then right there is the mountain top
And its ultimate beauty surrounds her.
On the top of the world
Engulfed in its serenity
Standing in awe
Absorbing the tranquillity
And that was where she found a place
Where her sorrows could be released
Standing there on that mountaintop
A genuine moment of peace.
