A Soldier's Prayer

May the sun rise infront of me,
May the rain fall behind me,
And my the wind follow me.
May the Angel's of my brothers and sisters
Who have fallen behind me
Guard my travels; for they know my perils,
Of the long narrow path before me.
Keep me safe through out
The rough city streets,
On my way through war and hate.
Through whirling winds and rolling clouds of thunder,
Let the colors of the seasons help me through the pain,
Let the eagle guide me to th mountain tops, and
Let the moon's light guide me through the night.
May my armor not fail me, nor my eyes grow tired, and
May my gun only draw life from mine enimies.
Keep my heart soft and my mind sharp.
Let my families love breath new life into my soul,
Before I journey to another adventure.
Beside my fallen brothers and sisters!
